EOI Issued for Medical Cities Project in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia together with the National Center for Privatization & PPP invite local and international investors to express their interest for King Faisal Medical City in Abha, and Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medical City in Sakaka. The private partner will design, build, finance, operate (without clinical operations), maintain and transfer.

King Faisal Medical City (KFMC) with 1,024 beds will serve southern region. Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medical City (PMMC) with 442 beds serve northern region.

The construction of both medical cities is essential to meet the high demand for tertiary specialized care of the growing population in the southern and northern regions. In addition, private sector participation in managing hospitals and medical cities will contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 goals such as increasing its contribution in providing healthcare services, improving infrastructure and managing health facilities.

The deadline to submit the application: January 10, 2022.
